How It Started
Our Barehands started with three friends visiting small communities around the world. Passionate about making a difference wherever and in whatever they put their hands to, the business started as a response to problems faced by many small-producing communities who did not have the access to global resources or opportunity. These communities were struggling to make a sale and hardly earning enough to put food on the table. We recognised that many were producing what they thought the market wanted, but not what was actually in demand. We saw a need to bridge that divide.
By doing so, more of our craftsmen would benefit and in turn, so will their communities. It is our hope that many will join this movement of change with their bare hands.
