The Hands Behind

These handcrafted woven leather slides are a result of the skill and artistry of leather shoemakers that have been passed through generations in North Karnataka, India. Its cavani weaving cross stitch-like style was birthed from master shoemakers in their community.

Every pair is made by hand - from the cutting of the leather, to its weaving, stitching, hammering and fitting. Each master shoemaker specialises on different parts of the process to bring you your perfect pair.
